Datuk Ts. Mahadhir Aziz is a strategic leader at the forefront of Southeast Asia's digital and infrastructure development, currently serving as the Director of the Patient Capital Division at Johor Corporation and Group Managing Director of Johor Capital Group. With close to 30 years of experience across both private and public sector, his expertise spans IT, strategy consulting and verticals such as financial services, real estate and energy (oil & gas).

He is a prominent advocate for digital transformation and social digital inclusion. As the former CEO of the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC), he drove the launch of the strategic national initiative, Malaysia Digital (MD), to attract new digital investments into Malaysia amounting to around RM170 billion over three years while generating more than RM4 billion of annualised digital services export. He previously co-founded Futurise and developed the National Regulatory Sandbox (NRS) initiative under the Ministry of Finance. Datuk Ts. Mahadhir is presently the Chairman of the Data Centre Industry Association of Malaysia (DCIA), which includes all major digital infrastructure investors and industry players in key areas like the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone.
